World Security is currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor who has the following qualifications.

JOB PURPOSE:

The position is responsible for the smooth functioning of warehouse operations by effective coordination with customers, supervision of staff, and stock management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate with customers for smooth functioning of daily operations by ensuring their SOPs are available, monitoring inbound/outbound operations efficiently, maintaining proper records of inventory attending to customers’ queries promptly, and ensuring deliverables are met.
• Ensure proper planning and distribution of Job/Work orders.
• Ensure optimum utilization of space through proper binning/picking practices.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and zero damages on handling.
• Coordinate with the transportation department for all transport movement.
• Manage and monitor stock accurately by ensuring accurate storage as per category (damaged / non-saleable etc.), reconciling stock at regular intervals, updating inbound and outbound stock promptly, ensuring cyclic counting is carried out for all customers, ensuring proper controls are in place for inbound and outbound checking and highlighting discrepancies to Management.
• Ensure operations are carried out as per EHS standards and local laws by conducting weekly meetings on safe working conditions, supervising constantly for safety procedures to be followed, and ensuring PPE is worn by all operations staff during working hours.
• Improve the customer base by maintaining relationships with existing customers to generate new orders.
• Investigate and report all inventory discrepancies; handling damages, and non-compliance with agreed SOP’s.
• Generate reports as and when required for customers and management.
• Prepare incident reports within 24 hours.
• Ensure good housekeeping and cleanliness on warehouse premises.

Required Criteria:

Bachelors Degree
Required 3-5 years of experience in 3PL warehouse operations
Excellent English Communication Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
