Technical Design Engineer

Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
– 8–12 years of experience in LV/MV switchgear design and manufacturing, preferably in a factory environment
– Strong knowledge of switchgear design, protection schemes, busbar systems, and electrical interlocks
– Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar electrical design software
– Proven expertise in technical submissions, design coordination, and project engineering
– Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
– Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within tight deadlines
Key Responsibilities
– Lead and manage the project engineering and design team, including Design Engineers and Draftsmen
– Review customer specifications, drawings, and technical requirements during contract execution
– Prepare and review technical submittals, GA drawings, schematics, BOMs, and material lists
– Coordinate engineering activities with Sales, Project Management, Procurement, and Production teams
– Issue approved engineering documents and drawings to production within project timelines
– Support customer technical clarifications and engineering negotiations
– Ensure compliance with quality standards, ISO requirements, and company policies
– Monitor engineering progress, identify project risks, and provide timely technical solutions
– Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and design quality
