Job Position: Storekeeper

– Material Management
Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of construction materials and equipment.
Ensure proper handling, labelling, and storage of materials to prevent damage or loss.
Maintain accurate inventory records using software or manual logs.
Monitor material usage and stock levels to avoid shortages or overstock.
– Inventory Control
Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile with records.
Track material inflow and outflow from site stores.
Maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) practices to manage material expiry and wastage.
– Coordination
Coordinate with procurement, site engineers, and foremen for the timely delivery of materials to work fronts.
Issue materials based on approved Material Request Forms (MRFs).
Liaise with suppliers and transporters for delivery follow-ups.
– Documentation & Reporting
Maintain GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), MIRs (Material Inspection Reports), issue slips, and delivery notes.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
Report material discrepancies or damages to the site engineer or project manager.
– Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with safety and storage standards at the warehouse/site store.
Keep store premises neat, secure, and organized.
– UAE experience preferred
