Storekeeper

Location: United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities

– Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies against delivery documents
– Store materials in an organized and secure manner to prevent damage or loss
– Issue materials, tools, and equipment as requested and maintain proper records
– Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages or excesses
– Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits
– Maintain accurate records of receipts, issues, transfers, and stock balances
– Coordinate with procurement and project teams regarding material requirements
– Ensure compliance with company procedures for inventory control and warehouse management
– Keep the storage areas clean, safe, and well-organized
– Prepare inventory and stock movement reports as required

Qualifications and Requirements

– High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory or warehouse management is an advantage
– Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in construction, engineering, or industrial sectors
– Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
– Experience using ERP or inventory management systems is preferred
– Good organizational and record-keeping skills
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
– Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

– UAE/GCC experience
– Experience handling construction materials, tools, and equipment
– Familiarity with inventory software and warehouse management systems
