Senior Application Tester Jobs in Bahrain (Vacancies)

VAM Systems is presently in search of a Senior Application Tester for our operations in Bahrain, and we are seeking individuals with the following qualifications and conditions:

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience of at least 8 years in a Quality Assurance Tester or a similar role
• Proficiency in Test Automation using Selenium
• Ability to create, execute, and maintain test cases
• Project management and QA methodology experience
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
• Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency in test management software and SQL
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
• Effective organizational skills
• Certification in one of the following:
  • ISTQB Foundation Level (CTFL)
  • Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Contribute to establishing standards and defining general processes for software testing.
• Responsible for comprehensive technical (unit, integrity, regression, stress testing) and functional/non-functional testing of all developed applications.
• Oversee all testing activities within application development, major application changes, etc.
• Manage and mitigate risks associated with testing, taking preventive actions when risks become unacceptable.
• Evaluate and provide advice on practical testing process alternatives.
• Initiate improvements to testing processes.
• Develop the test plan, including tasks, dependencies, and required participants to ensure system quality and stakeholder support.
• Ensure timely delivery of various testing milestones.
• Create and maintain up-to-date documentation of test cases, test scenarios, test scripts, and outcomes based on functional design, business requirements, and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Terms and Conditions:

• Joining Time Frame: 15 – 30 days

Selected candidates will become part of VAM Systems in Bahrain and will be assigned to one of the organizations in Bahrain.
