Job Position: School Doctor / General Practitioner
Location: Doha, Qatar

– Conduct clinical examinations for students referred by teachers
– Provide care to students with chronic illnesses (allergies, asthma, diabetes, seizures, etc.)
– Respond to emergency medical situations and ensure appropriate immediate attention
– Refer students requiring advanced care to hospitals or other medical providers
– Monitor referred students for follow-up care and health concerns
– Consult with parents regarding children’s health conditions and recommend further evaluations
– Implement vaccination awareness programs in accordance with the Supreme Council of Health
– Enforce communicable disease prevention protocols
– Monitor school sanitation and hygiene; report potential hazards to the Head of School
– Collect and send water samples for quality/safety testing each term
– Maintain accurate records of all clinic visits by students and staff
– Keep detailed student medical records and produce statistical reports
– Supervise school nurses and provide training on health-related topics
– Communicate clearly and respectfully with all stakeholders
– Liaise with medical service providers and government agencies
– Recommend necessary medical supplies and equipment
– Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate superior
– Qualifications: Medical degree from an accredited university, licensed to practice in Qatar, with a minimum of 5 years of experience
– Skills/Competencies: English/Arabic (Arabic mandatory), emergency response, planning, multitasking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills
– Terms: Initial 2-year contract, subsequent 1-year contracts, salary per placement on grid
