Job Position: Planning Engineer – Steel (Offshore)

– Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc. / B.Tech / BE) or equivalent
– 10–12 years’ relevant maintenance experience
– Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas as a Planning Engineer
– Develop, plan, and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for steel equipment
– Prepare Annual, Monthly, and Weekly Maintenance Plans and Work Schedules
– Coordinate with operations to minimize downtime and disruptions
– Review work requests, issue work orders in CMMS, and manage backlog
– Ensure proper resource and material planning to optimize productivity
– Participate in cost estimation and coordination with vendors and stakeholders
– Conduct field walkdowns and recommend improvements
– Strong knowledge of Planning Techniques & CMMS
– Expertise in Static Equipment & Mechanical Engineering principles
– Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills
– Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities
– Proficient in MS Office, CMMS, MS Projects, Primavera P6
