Job Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer

– Oversee the implementation of MEP systems for high-rise construction projects.
– Provide technical guidance to project teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
– Conduct thorough site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications.
– Mentor and develop junior engineers within the team.
– Perform a comprehensive review of project scope, client requirements, BOQ, project milestones, & specifications from bid documents.
– Initiate material inquiries with relevant suppliers and evaluate proposals to ensure alignment with project requirements.
– Obtain material submittals from selected suppliers and prepare them in accordance with project specifications.
– Provide clear technical guidance to the construction team, ensuring designs & drawings align with project requirements.
– Identify & address conflicts & discrepancies within the project, communicating effectively with the project team.
– Execute additional tasks as directed by the Project Manager.
– Technically sound on applicable codes, standards, & regulations.
– Ability to conduct mechanical analysis & calculations.
– Ability to meet work schedules and deadlines.
– Skills in feasibility study, Procurement, Estimation, project controls, cost estimates, quantity take-offs, & manpower requirements for proposals, forecasts, and change orders.
– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
– Minimum of 15 years of experience inthe MEP field with high-rise experience.
– Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, & fire protection systems.
– Proven project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
