Job Position: Mechanical Inspector
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

– Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
– Minimum of 5 years in MEP experience, preferably in a consultancy environment
– Conduct detailed site inspections of mechanical installations, systems, and equipment, including but not limited to HVAC, piping, plumbing, drainage, and related components
– Monitor contractor activities, equipment, and personnel to ensure adherence to project plans and safety protocols
– Document all inspection findings, non-conformances, and work performed, maintaining accurate and organized records
– Issue Non-Compliance Reports (NCRs) and site observation reports, and work with contractors to implement corrective actions
– Communicate inspection results, recommendations, and issues to Resident Engineers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders
– Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other project teams to resolve discrepancies and quality issues
– Assist in the preparation of inspection, quality, and progress reports for management and the client
– Verify the correct installation and functionality of components and systems, documenting any damage or defects
– Ensure materials delivered to the site comply with specified requirements
– Knowledge of TAQQ, ADSSC, ADCD, DOE, ADM, and relevant UAE codes & standards
– Proficient in AutoCAD, ETAP, MS Office
– Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and associated equipment
– Experience in consultancy site work is highly beneficial
– Good written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project personnel and management
