Job Position: Kitchen Stewarding Supervisor

– Manage and supervise stewarding staff, ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards.
– Provide training on cleaning techniques, equipment usage, safety protocols, and sanitation standards.
– Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders for replenishment when necessary.
– Conduct inspections of work areas and equipment to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hygiene regulations.
– Prepare and manage work schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and special events.
– Coordinate closely with the Head Chef to support kitchen operations.
– Address and resolve any issues or complaints related to cleanliness and sanitation promptly.
– Collaborate with other departments, including kitchen and housekeeping, to maintain overall cleanliness and operational efficiency.
– Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management
– Strong communication skills
– Knowledge of HACCP with a related certification
– Solid understanding of sanitation and hygiene practices in a food service environment
– Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards
– Previous experience as a Stewarding Supervisor in a similar role within a 4- or 5-star hotel
