– January 2026 (Prep–Grade 2) from January 2026. Working closely with the Head of School, you will help lead high-quality teaching and learning, nurture a positive student culture, and partner with families across our early years and lower primary program. (This role is remunerated at DHOS level.)
– Key responsibilities:
– Assist the Head of School in leading the school community to develop, articulate, and commit to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
– Uphold the deputy principalship as a values-based, ethical, and moral activity.
– Embed socially just practices in daily operations and school life.
– Fostered strong collaboration with various departments within the school to enhance teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
– Set and sustain high standards for student and staff performance.
– Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
– Provide leadership and support for major events and extracurricular activities.
– Form partnerships with parents, other government agencies, community groups, industry, and business.
– Be future-oriented and strategic.
– Understand the legislation and policies that impact schooling.
– Manage resources to achieve goals.
– A brief résumé including contact details for two referees (referees should know your relevant work history).
