Job Position: Senior MEP Procurement Engineer

– Responsibilities:
– Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to identify material requirements.
– Source and evaluate suppliers/subcontractors for MEP materials and services.
– Prepare and issue RFQs to multiple vendors.
– Conduct technical and commercial bid evaluations with engineering and project teams.
– Ensure materials comply with project specifications and standards.
– Develop and maintain approved vendor and supplier lists.
– Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
– Establish long-term relationships with key MEP suppliers.
– Coordinate material submittal approvals with MEP engineers and consultants.
– Prepare procurement logs, purchase orders, and tracking sheets.
– Monitor material delivery schedules and coordinate with logistics and site teams.
– Ensure compliance with procurement policies and ISO procedures.
– Compare supplier quotations to ensure best value decisions.
– Control project material costs and monitor budget variance.
– Evaluate supplier performance for quality, delivery, and service.
– Prepare procurement status reports for management.
– Identify delays or procurement risks affecting project timelines.
– Minimum Requirements:
– 5+ years UAE experience in an MEP contracting company or similar role.
– Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferred).
– Immediate availability preferred.
