Job Position: Procurement Engineer

– Prepare material procurement schedules aligned with project timelines.
– Coordinate with project engineers and consultants to identify material requirements.
– Source and pre-qualify suppliers/subcontractors.
– Request quotations (RFQs), evaluate bids technically and commercially, and recommend suitable vendors.
– Review material submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
– Coordinate with consultants for material approvals.
– Negotiate with suppliers for the best price, payment terms, and delivery conditions.
– Ensure procurement within budget and avoid unnecessary costs.
– Prepare purchase orders (POs), contracts, and procurement reports.
– Maintain proper records of vendor databases and material tracking logs.
– Work closely with site engineers, project managers, and accounts for smooth material flow.
– Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
– Ensure all procured materials conform to project specifications, local authority requirements, and international standards.
– Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalency; Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience
