Job Position: Interior Designer
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Company Name:
– Develop interior design concepts, layouts, mood boards, and material selections based on client requirements
– Prepare detailed 2D drawings, layouts, elevations, and joinery details
– Coordinate with MEP, architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure design feasibility
– Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, authority approvals, and site regulations
– Assist in preparing BOQs, specifications, and material submittals
– Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design intent is executed correctly
– Liaise with suppliers and vendors for finishes, furniture, and fittings
– Support project timelines and assist in resolving design or site-related issues
– Prepare presentations and design documentation for client approvals
– Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
– 2-3 years of interior design experience in the UAE
– Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Lumion, or similar design software
– Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, FF&E, and local suppliers
– Familiarity with UAE authorities and approval processes (preferred)
– Good communication and coordination skills
– Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
