Job Position: Regulatory Sanctions Manager

– Lead and manage the Regulatory Sanctions team in line with regulatory directives and internal policies, and deliver within the stipulated timeframe.
– Monitor and enhance sanctions screening process/procedures, list management, and MIS reporting, to ensure compliance with regulations without breaches.
– Bachelor’s degree holder; AML/CFT certifications such as CAMS or ICA required.
– Minimum 4 years of related experience in managing Regulatory Sanctions at a senior role in a bank/financial institution.
– Clear and updated knowledge of CBUAE regulations and AML/CFT laws, including international regulations.
– Prepare, establish, and review AML/Sanctions-related policies and procedures; undertake gap analysis with regulatory guidelines.
– Identify process/system gaps and implement control measures in conjunction with the IT team.
– Ensure screening systems are appropriate and functioning through periodic reviews and fine-tuning exercises.
– Collaborate with the IT department to enhance the sanctions process, system testing, process flows, and SOPs.
– Lead, train, and mentor a large team to achieve qualitative and quantitative KPIs.
– Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.
– Perform effectively in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment with strong teamwork and “one-team” attitude.
