Job Position: Accountant

– Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) with a minimum of 5 years of insurance experience, preferably within the UAE.
– Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
– Manage receivable and payable accounts, including those of brokers, clients, insurance, and reinsurance companies.
– Coordinate and follow up on dues collection and settlement of payments to various parties.
– Prepare and maintain statements of accounts; regularly reconcile and match entries.
– Coordinate with internal departments and insurance counterparties to gather supporting documentation and ensure accounting records are accurate and up to date.
– Support the finance team in preparing various reports and schedules for consultants, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
– Assist in routine finance tasks such as bank reconciliations and journal entries.
