Job Position:
1 – Foreman
Company:
– Ahmad Al Suwaidi Building Contracting
Key Responsibilities:
– Supervise daily site activities including construction, finishing, and fit-out works
– Assign tasks to workers and subcontractors based on project priorities
– Ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, and approved shop drawings
– Coordinate across trades: civil, gypsum, painting, tiling, joinery, and MEP
– Maintain proper workflow sequencing to avoid delays and rework
– Monitor finishing quality and ensure top standards are met
– Conduct inspections, identify defects, and ensure timely rectification
– Manage material usage efficiently and reduce wastage
– Ensure availability, storage, and proper handling of materials and tools
– Enforce safety procedures and ensure PPE compliance
– Conduct toolbox talks and promote safe working practices
– Prepare snag lists and support project handover
– Maintain daily reports, manpower logs, and progress tracking
Requirements:
– Diploma or technical qualification in Civil Engineering or related field
– 5–10 years of experience in construction and fit-out projects
– Strong knowledge of finishing materials and techniques
– Ability to read and interpret drawings and shop drawings
– Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
– Valid manual driving license
