Job Position: Technical Services Specialist (Animal Health)

– Offer technical support, in conjunction with relevant technical support teams, related to product performance, at key accounts and channel partners
– Work with regional Account Managers to grow existing business, nurture new opportunities, and actively participate in the sales process
– Supervise customer and distributor poultry trials, visit research facilities, and deliver detailed analyses of trial results
– Maintain high-level relationships with key customers and influencers, especially nutritionists and vets
– Investigate customer complaints and resolve industry issues on-site, including product applications and marketing efforts
– Engage in professional trade associations and committees related to the poultry industry
– Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape for gastrointestinal health products and services, and equip distributors through value messaging against competitors
– Work with Account managers to create annual account plans for key customers and channel partners for their long-term growth and ensure direction is in alignment with global marketing plans
– Be able to represent Novonesis® on industry forums and be the voice of our solutions in trade shows and conferences, when needed
– Master’s or PhD in Animal Science, poultry nutrition, or related field
– Experience in working with poultry nutrition, health, and production of poultry nutrition products. Understanding and experience in feed formulations involving probiotics and enzymes will be an advantage
– Have over 5-9 years’ experience in poultry health and nutrition, with a solid understanding of application and product formulations
– Strong drive, responsible, goal-oriented, well organized, and self-motivated, being able to develop regions independently
– Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and demonstrated proficiency in MS Office software (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint)
– Willingness to travel ~50% of the time, primarily in the assigned region when required
– Deep knowledge of the Poultry Health industry in North Africa and the Middle East
– Entrepreneurial and commercial thinking with a strong affinity to value creation
– Ability to network in the industry and be able to present in external forums
– Good presentation skills to communicate both internally and externally
