Job Position: Kitchen/Laundry Technician
Location: Mussanah, Oman

– Inspect, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen equipment (e.g. ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, gas ranges)
– Inspect, maintain, and repair laundry equipment (e.g. washers, dryers, presses, cleaners)
– Perform routine preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment
– Assist in the installation and commissioning of new kitchen or laundry equipment
– Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently to minimize downtime
– Monitor equipment performance and identify recurring issues
– Ensure all work complies with local codes, hotel safety procedures, and manufacturer’s guidelines
– Maintain records of maintenance work, safety checks, and repairs performed
– Follow all safety and hygiene procedures when working with gas, electricity, water, and chemicals
– Keep an accurate inventory of tools and spare parts
– Report any breakdowns or repair delays to supervisors and recommend corrective action
– Provide regular updates and technical reports to management
– Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC preferred
– Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within a hospitality or commercial environment
– Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment
– Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
– Basic understanding of safety procedures and risk assessments
– Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
– Carry out tasks assigned by the Supervisor/Department Head
