Job Position: Junior Accountant

– Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
– 3-5 years of accounting experience (insurance or financial services preferred).
– Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
– Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or ERP systems).
– Familiarity with insurance terminology and processes is a plus.
– Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
– Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
– Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
– Assist in daily bookkeeping and recording financial transactions (e.g., premiums, claims, commissions).
– Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, journals, and bank reconciliations.
– Support accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely processing of invoices and receipts.
– Help in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
– Assist with reconciliations between policy administration systems and financial systems.
– Maintain proper filing of documents related to financial and insurance transactions.
– Support the audit process by providing required documents and explanations to auditors.
– Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory standards
