Job Position: Site Engineer (Civil Infrastructure)

– Candidates having 5 years of civil infrastructure experience in the UAE shall apply
– Act as the primary technical advisor on construction sites, offering expert guidance to subcontractors, craftsmen, and operatives.
– Conduct thorough reviews of plans, specifications, drawings, and quantities to ensure accurate calculations and precise execution.
– Maintain strict adherence to project specifications by overseeing the proper use of materials and the execution of work.
– Manage the selection and procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring their timely availability to meet project requirements.
– Foster effective collaboration with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the project team to ensure seamless operations.
– Coordinate with local authorities to ensure full compliance with construction regulations and bylaws.
– Establish and maintain open lines of communication with clients, architects, engineers, and surveyors to facilitate site coordination and uphold quality standards.
– Supervise and monitor the site labor force and subcontractors daily to ensure optimal productivity and quality of work.
– Strategically plan and organize work activities to meet project deadlines, optimizing the utilization of plant and site facilities.
– Implement rigorous quality control and health and safety (HSE) protocols on-site, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and standards.
– Prepare comprehensive reports documenting project progress, identifying issues, and proposing resolutions as necessary.
– Address unforeseen technical difficulties and other challenges promptly by coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
– Fulfill any additional official duties assigned by superiors promptly and effectively.
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
– Minimum of 5+ years’ UAE experience in a comparable role within Roads and Infrastructure turnkey projects.
– Professional Certifications are beneficial.
– Possesses sound judgment and maintains a proactive attitude.
– Previous experience in the GCC region is advantageous.
– Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under pressure.
– Strong attention to detail.
– Ability to read drawings and specifications.
– Knowledge of reading drawings by using AutoCAD / MicroStation.
– Proficiency in using computers & software such as MS Office / ERP Software.
