Job Position: E&I Site Engineer
Location: Jebel Ali Free Zone – Dubai, UAE

– Execute and supervise electrical and instrumentation works related to Skid packages and offshore systems.
– Review electrical and instrumentation drawings, schematics, and specifications.
– Supervise installation, termination, and testing of E&I components on Skid packages and offshore systems.
– Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (IEC, NEC, ATEX).
– Provide technical input and resolve site-level engineering issues.
– Perform inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
– Prepare inspection and test reports, and maintain quality documentation.
– Coordinate with design, QA/QC, production, and planning teams to align site activities with project milestones.
– Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to project scope and safety requirements.
– Oversee pre-commissioning activities for E&I systems.
– Participate in internal audits, inspections, and safety walkdowns.
– Ensure all E&I works are executed in accordance with approved procedures and quality benchmarks.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and test records for inspection and handover.
– Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
– Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in E&I works, particularly involving Skid packages and offshore systems within the Oil & Gas industry.
– In-depth knowledge of E&I installation practices and applicable standards (IEC, NEC, ATEX).
– Proficiency in interpreting E&I layouts, cable schedules, hook-up drawings, loop diagrams, etc.
– Familiarity with hazardous area classifications and Ex equipment installation.
– Experience in FAT, loop checking, and commissioning procedures.
– Strong communication and coordination abilities.
– Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
– Commitment to health, safety, and environment (HSE) protocols.
