Job Position: Project Engineer
Location: Fujairah, UAE

– Assist the Project Manager in developing detailed project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocations
– Review design drawings, specifications, and construction documents, and provide technical input where required
– Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely execution of project deliverables
– Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and work procedures in line with project requirements
– Supervise site work to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards
– Ensure that construction activities are carried out safely, on time, and within budget
– Provide technical guidance and resolve engineering issues during project execution
– Monitor progress and prepare daily/weekly/monthly site progress reports for the Project Manager
– Ensure adherence to company quality management systems and project QA/QC procedures
– Conduct inspections and ensure corrective measures are implemented where required
– Enforce compliance with health and safety standards and actively participate in site safety programs
– Assist in reviewing project variations, claims, and contractual correspondence
– Coordinate with the procurement team for the timely delivery of materials and subcontractor works
– Track project costs, verify subcontractor invoices, and highlight deviations to the Project Manager
– Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities to ensure approvals and inspections are obtained on time
– Maintain professional relationships with project stakeholders to support smooth project delivery
– Attend project coordination meetings and provide technical support in discussions
– Requirements and Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or related discipline)
– Minimum 8 years’ proven experience as a Project Engineer in the UAE, with exposure to large-scale civil, infrastructure, or building projects
– Professional engineering license/affiliation (preferred)
– Knowledge of UAE construction codes and regulations is mandatory
– Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office Suite
– Strong understanding of project management methodologies and construction practices
– Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and UAE authority approval procedures
– Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
